Informational Newsletters

At SmartONE, I regularly write and send out quarterly informational newsletters to Property Management and building staff that we partner with. The goal is to provide tips on how to best use the SmartONE Smart Home system, as well as to provide updates regarding newly released features, and how to use them. To prevent informational overload, we decided a short one-page newsletter would be the best way to keep reader attention, while successfully providing the guidance and knowledge they need. Occasionally, they may be longer depending on how in-depth they want to go on the subject.

YouTube Tutorial Scripts

In addition to the newsletters, I have also worked with the team at SmartONE to help create the scripts for many of their YouTube tutorial videos. These videos are incredibly useful to their user base, and provide easy and digestible content designed to assist users in independently resolving any questions or concerns they may have.The SmartONE Customer Service team has found that tickets related to the topics covered in these tutorials have decreased by over 50% since their release, reducing their workload quite significantly.You can find an example here, along with the rest of the tutorial videos on their channel!

Knowledge Centre Website

Another project I worked on with SmartONE is the creation of their Knowledge Centre. A website created for the purpose of showcasing all of the learning resources SmartONE offers, all in one place.

I created and designed the site, as well as did all the site copy. Similar to the tutorial videos, the Knowledge Centre was quite successful in considerably reducing the amount of incoming inquiries and calls to the Customer Support team.
